Rainbow Technologies, a leading provider of high-performance security solutions for the Internet and eCommerce, and AST eBIS, a division of JSE-listed Advanced Software Technologies-Abraxas (AST-A), today announced a partnership agreement that permits AST eBIS to integrate and distribute Internet security products from Rainbow in South Africa`s rapidly-growing information technology industry. The agreement represents the next step in Rainbow`s aggressive strategy for international distribution of products and services that provide security solutions for the Internet and international eCommerce.
Under the terms of the agreement, AST eBIS will integrate and distribute Rainbow`s iKey authentication token, CryptoSwift accelerator boards in PKI and eCommerce applications. AST eBIS provides comprehensive and integrated ICT-related solutions for global corporate clients based in South Africa as well as being an Entrust partner.
