RangeGate, as a Microsoft Certified Partner, has earned ISV Software Solutions Competency from Microsoft after passing the Microsoft Platform Test, through VeriTest, for its Mobile-Edge application.
RangeGate is a supplier of packaged mobile supply chain solutions to the African and Middle East markets. The Mobile-Edge application is the underlying platform for all its solutions providing business value to the supply chain sector.

RangeGate began its application for Microsoft Certified Partner status in October 2004, and has chosen the Microsoft .NET framework as the technology of choice in the development of its industry-based solutions.
Using the Microsoft .Net framework provides RangeGate with the ability to simplify its programming process, and alleviate the problem of the lack of skilled programmers. It can apply rapid application Web development services and techniques to its solutions and services, increasing developer productivity.
The company can also accelerate the integration of systems, applications and partners using Web services; build on legacy systems rather than ripping and replacing; and improve the reliability, scalability and security of applications using Microsoft .Net`s application execution environment.

RangeGate is also actively participating in new product releases with Microsoft, more recently the soon-to-be-released Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and Visual Studio 2005 tool sets. According to Microsoft, the latest SQL and Visual Studio will provide partners with tools that increase the value of their products.
