LightPointe GmbH, a leader in the development and manufacturing of Free Space Optic (FSO) solutions, today announced that RapidCloud Technology (Pty) Ltd has been appointed as an authorised distributor for its Flight product line.
RapidCloud will distribute the FlightLite and FlightPath single-beam and FlightSpectrum multi-beam carrier-class solutions throughout sub-Saharan Africa. The agreement provides RapidCloud customers with access to the full range of LightPointe solutions including campus LAN solutions, enterprise network solutions and high-performance carrier solutions where trenched fibre-optic cable is not available.
RapidCloud is active in the African market and recognizes the huge opportunity for technologies that enable the rapid deployment of infrastructure solutions. This new agreement allows LightPointe to address this important market which, until now, was not adequately covered.
