RCS Cards selects PIC Solutions for software services

RCS Cards, a member of the Foschini Group, has signed a CredITMentor software services contract with PIC Solutions.

RCS Cards is a financial services company providing retail financing to customers in the South African market. The organisation offers credit to niche markets and has six leading brands, including RCS Auto, RCS Credit, RCS Fashion, RCS Health, RCS Home and RCS Leisure. RCS Cards has more than 4 500 participating merchants and serves over 150 000 active customers.

In a highly competitive marketplace, RCS Cards is constantly driven to innovate and improve its product offering to ensure it remains at the forefront of retail credit. Under this CredITMentor contract, PIC personnel will assist RCS Cards with a number of ICT projects.

The flexibility of the CredITMentor contract will enable RCS Cards to `reserve` a specified number of support hours over a 12-month period. During this period, it can make use of the PIC Solutions software services personnel, as and when they are most required. This allows for maximum flexibility of specialist resources, combined with fixed monthly budgeting.
