Web-based service desk automation software provider UniPress Software has announced the strongest fiscal quarter to date for its award-winning Footprints product line.
Footprints is distributed locally by Titan5 Holdings Limited, which holds the exclusive rights for the product in Southern Africa.
TitanFive CEO Ryan Kahan said UniPress attributed its growth in the help desk and customer support automation markets to increased sales of its flagship FootPrints Web-based service desk software, as well as the launch of its FootPrints for eService solution, and its new FootPrints Hosting Service. Both of the newly-released offerings are available to local customers as well, said Kahan. "The Footprints offering, still relatively new to South Africa, is doing incredibly well in the US since its launch in 1996," he said. In the first quarter of 2004 ending in March, UniPress had three consecutive record sales months, and is closing in on securing its 2 000th customer milestone in second quarter 2004.
FootPrints Web-based service desk software enables companies of all sizes to automate help desk and customer service operations, reduce support costs, and control all aspects of the problem-resolution lifecycle. It streamlines a range of business processes and workflow, including centralised management of requests from multiple channels, e-mail management, asset management, change management, and best practices for support. "It is powerful, affordable, fully customisable, extremely easy-to-use, flexible for multiple functions, and is typically up and running within days - without requiring costly training, consulting, and programming," said Kahan.
New customers of the FootPrints product line in the first quarter of 2004 include Wells Fargo Bank, The Home Depot-at Home Services, Hunter Fans, the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), Cell Genesys, ConAgra Foods Retail Products, Home Trust Bank, Invision, Nordic Superconductor Technologies, South Windsor School District, the State of Maine, Synnex Information Technologies, Webmedx, Metrologic Instruments, the US Department of Commerce, Farmers Insurance Group FCU, and Silicon Image.
The FootPrints product line is widely used across a range of industries and market sectors. In addition to the United States and Canada, FootPrints is widely distributed throughout Europe, Japan, Mexico, Latin America, China, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa through a network of strategic partners.
"FootPrints technology offers organisations an extremely flexible system to automate a broad range of business-critical help desk and customer service operations," said Mark Krieger, President of UniPress Software. "This past quarter`s record growth reinforces the tangible value the software offers organiszations across a range of industries. We continue to improve the product line, adding features and functionality without compromising our signature ease-of-use and affordability - the two key factors driving the demand for FootPrints in North America and around the world."
