Recover releases Linux 1.0

Recover Data has released a Linux data recovery programme called Recover Data for Linux v1.0, according to Newswire Today.

The software has been designed to recover lost or deleted data from Linux operating systems.

Recover Data for Linux software also recovers files lost due to a virus attack, power supply failure, or program bugs.

Ahsay offers data backup

Ahsay has released the Ahsay Online Backup Suite Business Edition for businesses, according to Newswire Today.

Ahsay Online Backup Suite Business Edition offers two licensing models, purchase and monthly leasing, which give SMEs the flexibility to deploy disaster recovery with minimal financial burden.

With the leasing licence, businesses can deploy the software in their corporate environments and back up their servers, desktops and laptops.

Stena Bulk deploys DR software

Stena Bulk has implemented a disaster recovery product from Reading-based disaster recovery software company Neverfail Group, reports IT Pro.

The Gothenburg-based shipping company needed to ensure that data held on its Exchange and SQL servers could remain online should there be a problem.

Stena Bulk re-examined its disaster recovery strategy and concluded that its global shipping operations would be adversely affected if inclement weather or planned maintenance were to cause a period of application downtime.
