Rectron Limited, a leading South African distributor of computer components, has been appointed as an official distributor of Fujitsu products in South Africa with effect from 1 March 1999.
Adam Harris, Managing Director of Fujitsu Europe, said Rectron had been selected as a Fujitsu distributor by virtue of its strong, national dealer network and successful distribution track record in the South African IT market.

Mark Lu, Managing Director of Rectron, said he aimed to position Fujitsu among the top three players in the storage device sector of the South African IT market within the first year of operations. `Fujitsu`s core business is manufacturing and development.
