South African IT distributor Rectron has for the second consecutive year been awarded Microsoft Distributor of the Year, confirming the company`s continuous and consistent market growth.
The award was presented to Rectron at the recent Microsoft Partner Summit gala event held at Sun City. The Microsoft Distributor of the Year must adhere to an extensive set of criteria that includes target-based requirements, a strong track record, training, forecasting as well the ability to develop and execute market-related business plans.
Rectron met all of the above criteria and performed well in each category which ultimately resulted in the company winning the award for the second year running.
The Microsoft Partner Programme Awards acknowledge those partners that have excelled in delivering Microsoft solutions over the past year. The Distributor of the Year Award in particular recognises the distributor who achieves the best results (as per the targets set by Microsoft); is strongly aligned to Microsoft and its initiatives and activities; and whose approach to customer satisfaction ensures a high level of service to the channel.
