Rectron has introduced Gigabyte Technology`s high-performance SLI (Scalable Link Interface) solution, the GA-K8NXP-SLI, which forms part of the company`s 8 'O (Sigma) family of motherboards.
The GA-K8NXP-SLI offers a SLI, PCI Express interface, Serial ATA II, NV firewall, and AMD Athlon64FX/ 64 processor support. The solution also features Gigabyte`s Memory, Dual Power Systems, Storage, Security, Networking and Shieldware technologies.
"Delivering unprecedented graphics performance and enhanced stability, the latest 8'O GA-K8NXP-SLI is definitely the way to go for gamers, PC geeks and consumers alike," comments Michael Hann, Gigabyte product manager at Rectron.
Looking specifically GA-K8NXP-SLI`s SLI Multi-GPU Support, it takes advantage of PCI Express`s increased bandwidth; features hardware and software innovations within NVIDIA GPU (graphics processing unit) as well as the NVIDIA nForce4 chipset.
"Together, the NVIDIA SLI technologies work seamlessly to allow two graphics cards to operate in parallel and share the work and deliver enhanced PC performance," he says.
