Gigabyte Technology`s exclusive South African distributor Rectron, has introduced the new GV-R92128VI Graphics Accelerator - powered by ATi Radeon 9200 - to the local market.
This latest offering from Gigabyte Technology provides a new level of 'visualism` for high performance video processing and 3D gaming environments.
Explains Reon Coetzee, marketing manager at Rectron: "The GV-R92128VI Graphics Accelerator offers high-end performance to the mainstream graphics market.
"Its four parallel rendering pipelines - usually found on high-end gaming cards -significantly enhances performance and game-play responsiveness by doubling the pixel fill rate."
The Graphic Accelerator`s SMART SHEADER technology supports Microsoft DirectX 8.1 feature sets, which enhances in-game performance and enables more complex and realistic lighting effects.
While its SMOOTHVISION technology delivers sharp, clear textures without compromising frame rates.
The GV-R92128VI Graphics Accelerator also integrates video input design by collaborating with the video editing utility PowerDirector, which provides for efficient video editing.
Other GV-R92128VI Graphics Accelerator features include:
* VIDEO IMMERSION - integrates features to provide support for digital and high definition video;
* FULLSTREAM - produces smoother-looking, higher quality streaming Internet content without consuming computing power; and
