Official South African Hewlett Packard distributor, Rectron has announced the immediate availability of the new HP Officejet 7100 series.
The series features printing speeds of 22 page per minute in black and 18 in colour, as well as faxing, copying and scanning - all from one compact printer.
Says Zandr'e Rudolph, HP product manager at Rectron: "With the new HP Offficejet 7100 series, users can create professional results when printing, copying and faxing in laser-quality black text.
"A key benefit of the 7100 series is the outstanding scanning results, with up to 1200 x 4800dpi optical resolution, which can be enhanced up to 9600dpi, with 48-bit colour."
The Officejet 7130 and 7140 also offer photo functionality. This means that users can print directly from their digital camera memory cards without a PC, using the built-in photo card slots or HP photo proof sheet.
"Users can also share their HP Officejet between two or more PCs with the network-ready option - enabling companies to fully maximise their printers."
The 7100 Officejet series also enables auto-collating and two-sided printing and copying using the 50-page automatic document feeder (duplex optional on 7110).
