Official HP distributor, Rectron has released the company`s latest digital cameras, the photosmart 735 and photosmart 935 to South African users.
Both cameras incorporate Pentax 3x optical zoom for high-definition photos and enlargements, and feature ain-camera facilities for selecting up to 34 pre-programmed destinations.
Says Zandr'e Rudolph, HP product manager at Rectron: "The HP photosmart 935, for example, is ideal for photography enthusiasts that prefer straight-forward point-and-shoot technology, but still want the benefits of high-definition photos.
"While the photosmart 735 caters for families or individuals, who enjoy using competitively priced technology that is practical and easy-to-use."
The photosmart 735 also captures actions and sounds - recording it onto its internal memory of via Secure Digital/MultiMediaCard memory card slot.
The 735 and 935 both offer instant-select functionality - while shooting photos or later on PC, minimises downloads with quick-view thumbnails, and shares photos directly with individuals or address lists via e-mail or printers.
"Both cameras offer important features such as the 935`s shot-to-shot functionality for instant and multiple photo-taking, and the 735`s ability to play audio clips with still photo`s," he says.
Other photosmart 735 and 935 features include:
* An optional HP 8886 docking station with remote control for convenient photo sharing and battery recharging;
* HP Photo and Imaging software with HP Memories Disc; and
* HP Direct Print to select HP Photosmart, Deskjet and AIO printers.
