Leading South African distributor of computer components, Rectron, has recently been appointed as the sole distributor of ZyXEL products to the South African market. ZyXEL, headquartered in Taiwan, is one of the world`s leading broadband access solution specialists. The company has distributors in over 70 countries, with its products marketed in over 150 countries on five continents.

"We had the opportunity to visit ZyXEL`s manufacturing plant in Taiwan and were impressed by the high quality of the company`s products, as well as the cost-effectiveness of its solutions."
Rectron will be responsible for the distribution of ZyXEL`s full networking product range which includes firewalls, wireless access points and routers, as well as layer 2, layer 2+, layer 3 and layer 3+ infrastructure. In addition, Rectron will offer the South African market ZyXEL`s comprehensive range of ADSL products which provides products and solutions for wireless ADSL and ADSL with VOIP.
Diss adds: "There is certainly a market for ZyXEL`s high quality yet cost-effective solutions within South Africa. This partnership will enable Rectron to deliver enhanced services and solutions to clients, via the deployment of products that meet their specific business and technology needs."
