Manufacturers, distributors and retailers looking to support business strategies that create competitive advantage are looking to solutions providers for answers.

To cater for this, RedPrairie has established its own operations in Africa, with its head office situated in Johannesburg.

“It was important to us to maintain service levels for our existing South African customers, which is why experienced personnel have been transferred from the value-added (VAR) to RedPrairie,” says Sandy Arundel, regional director, RedPrairie.

She says that for the past 10 years, RedPrairie has been represented through its VAR.

“During this time, RedPrairie has established a customer footprint in some of the largest and most complex warehousing and operations in SA.”

She lists Imperial logistics, Clover, Simba, and AutoZone as customers, adding: “The new office gives companies across the continent access to RedPrarie's full suite of productivity solutions.”

“We are excited about the new office in SA, and look forward to helping manufacturers, distributors, and retailers manage their inventory, workforce, and transportation more efficiently,” says Peter van Merode, executive director at RedPrairie.
