Redstor is pleased to announce that as part of the third cohort of the Commonwealth Export Champions programme, Redstor has been selected as one of 30 British businesses to become an Export Champion. Applications for the programme included off-grid renewable energy, healthy snacks, innovative antimicrobial technology and many more.
CommonwealthFirst is an initiative by the Commonwealth Enterprise & Investment Council, the business arm of the Commonwealth, to encourage SMEs to trade and invest in 52 markets. The three-year programme 2016-19 was announced at the Commonwealth Business Forum, Malta 2015 and will see 100 outstanding UK SMEs selected to become Commonwealth Export Champions. Royal Mail is the lead sponsor and i-genius the implementation partner.
As an Export Champion, Redstor will benefit from access to high-level networking events and tailored trade missions - with Canada and Australia taking place in Autumn 2017 and Spring 2018 respectively.
Richard Burge, Chief Executive of the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council, said: "I am delighted to see such an exciting array of applicants to become CommonwealthFirst Export Champions. I look forward to meeting as many of the new cohort as possible at our Export Day in July."
