The Department of Communications' e-Skills Institute is conducting a study to gain a holistic view of the local mobile applications industry.
The study consists of three surveys, directed at mobile app users, developers and app development trainers, respectively.
The research is being conducted by the e-Skills Institute's production and coordination hub, at the University of Pretoria. The findings will be used to help build the local mobile applications industry.
The surveys are completed anonymously and all responses are treated as strictly confidential. The questions are designed to gain insights into the background and experience of users, developers and trainers.
