What challenges do business continuity professionals face when working in the retail sector? Size, location, market sector, product type and regulations are just a few of the potential areas that could pose problems.

The Retail Business Continuity Association (RBCA) first surveyed its members in June 2014 on the subject. It highlighted a number of development opportunities ranging from training and awareness to testing and exercising strategies, and from work area recovery provisions to budget constraints.

This year, the Business Continuity Institute (BCI) and RBCA are running their first joint retail business continuity and resilience survey to find out more. The BCI and RBCA would like to expand on the original survey through a larger sample, benchmarking business continuity globally across the retail industry. For the first time, making useful comparisons between small and large retailers, nationals and multi-nationals.

This survey has now published so please take just a few moments to fill it in and support the valuable research work of the BCI. You can find the survey by clicking here.
