Resolution Software, a member company of JSE-listed MB Technologies, has carved its authority on the recent Stampede Awards, the annual South African channel awards from Great Plains Software.
Resolution, the principal Great Plains reseller in the country, walked away with the Service Excellence Award and managing director for Resolution, Grant Skinner, was named the recipient of the Leadership Award.
"Resolution Software has won the Service Excellence Award because of our approach to all our clients," says Paul Brito, marketing director for Resolution Software. "We follow a process where we identify any problems within an installation at an early stage and work them out with the client. Where others see problems, we see opportunities. Consequently, all of Resolution`s clients are referencable," he declares.
Brito adds that Resolution is one of very few organisations in this country whose core business is Great Plains software. "Resolution is a Great Plains specialist; we have a team of sixty people in four offices around South Africa and one in Botswana, all of whom are Great Plains experts."
"Service excellence is something that all of us should be striving for in our businesses. This award recognizes our partners commitment to service excellence by efficiently completing projects, adhering to deadlines at all times and exceeding customer expectations," says managing director for Great Plains Africa, Chris Harris.
According to Franca Cardillo, channel manager at Great Plains, Resolution was selected as the recipient of the Service Excellence Award largely through customer interaction. "Resolution customer sites have been used as reference sites time and time again. Where there are happy customers, there is great service," she declares.
"It is important to remember that in order for our businesses to succeed, we need strong leaders that guide us with courage and determination. Not only has Skinner been a leader in his organisation but he has also inspired other VARs with the success he has attained and the organisation he has established," comments Harris on the Leadership Award won by Skinner.
