Axiz and Micromark are launching a range of quality Micromark lighting and security products for small business and home use, at the Digital Life Expo, which takes place at Sandton Convention Centre, from 18 to 20 April.
Established in 1985, Micromark has grown to become a leading manufacturer of quality electrical products in the UK and has also been honoured with the Queen's Award for Enterprise for Innovation in 2004, for outstanding achievement through innovative products and services.
The security and lighting products Micromark will be displaying on the appliances and home automation platform at Digital Life Expo have been well received by retailers, and consumers should see them on the shelves in early July.
Retail will remain vital to international vendors, says Micromark Product Manager Andrew Lange, for a number of reasons. Most importantly, it gives them the ideal platform to market and talk directly to consumers. "In this way they can ensure their intended message reaches their target market," Lange says.
Most impressive in the Micromark range are the solar lighting products which, says Lange, have been hailed by retailers as a welcome quality addition to what is currently on the shelves.
"Due to the current power crisis, retailers believe solar power is the route consumers are going and, therefore, displayed a great deal of interest in the products. Apart from this, the quality of the products is deemed superior to current market offerings," Lange said.
The security options include modular wireless and wired home security systems which are not reliant on AC power. Lange says retailers are expecting a bigger buy in from the wired units, as the wireless systems carry about a 25% higher price tag. Coupled to these is a wireless colour CCTV camera product.
All the products carry a replace warranty.
