On 8 October 2008, Rethink Management Consulting held its first Lean Six Sigma business breakfast for senior delegates from the services industry. The purpose of the session was to create awareness surrounding Lean Six Sigma as well as to create awareness around Rethink's competency and ability to deliver Lean Six Sigma improvement initiatives.

Delegates were treated to an hour and a half of presentations covering the theory of Lean Six Sigma as well as a case study presented by a well known financial services provider. The practical nature of the case study gave very rare insight into the inner workings of a Lean Six Sigma project.
