Electronics company Reunert has appointed two non-executive directors to its board.

The company says Rynhardt van Rooyen and Kholeka Winifred Mzondeki have been appointed with effect from the beginning of next month.

Van Rooyen holds a CA (SA) and was a member of the group executive committee of Sasol. He represented Sasol on several of its subsidiary boards until his retirement in 2008.

Mzondeki holds an Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK) and, until recently, served as finance director of Masana Petroleum Services. In 2008, she was a finalist in the BWA/Nedbank Business Women of the Year awards.

Both Van Rooyen and Mzondeki will be members of the audit and committee.

Reunert, which is listed on the JSE in the industrial goods and services sector, manages a number of businesses focused on electronics and electrical engineering.

Its revenue last year, from local and international markets, exceeded R10.9 billion and the company has more than 7 000 staff.
