A reward is being offered for information leading to the recovery of a shipment of 14-inch Rainbow monitors stolen when a 40-foot container was hijacked on Marlborough Road on 12 January.
According to Stephanie van Zyl, shipping manager for computer hardware distributor, FSA Distribution, the empty container was later found in Alexandra. Only 38 of the 810 FSA house brand monitors have been recovered so far.
Insurance company, Glenrand, has urged everyone to be on the look-out for the monitors, which display the serial numbers P18C200001 to P18C200810. Anyone with information should contact Jim Strang at Glenrand on 083 264 9888.
