Ricoh debuts desktop widget

Ricoh has released a desktop widget that allows users of its visual online storage service 'quanp', currently in beta, easy ways to share large files up to 500MB direct from a user's computer desktop, states Market Watch.

Quanp provides 10GB of free online storage and advanced search and tagging capabilities for quick and easy management of files and documents.

All files sent with the quanp send widget are backed up in the user's online account automatically. The widget displays animations while files are being sent, customisable by the user.

FCS Financial deploys imaging

Credit and financial services provider FCS Financial is using Nuance Communications' eCopy ShareScan to automate its loan processing documents, utilising the solution to automatically turn paper into digital information, says NewsFactor Network

eCopy ShareScan is a software solution for document workflows from multifunction printers and network scanners.

With eCopy ShareScan, FCS Financial personnel take incoming documents for loan applications and scan them into PDF files to create electronic workflows. FCS Financial can access scanned documents from Microsoft SharePoint and CRM to drive business processes.

New HQ for Davinci Virtual

Davinci Virtual, a provider of global virtual office solutions, is set to complete the construction of its new North American headquarters by 1 October, reports TMCnet.

The existing size of Davinci Virtual will be more than doubled by this modern 25 000 square foot facility.

The new facility will include four virtual support centre areas as well as dedicated departments for management, sales, customer care, relations, finance, Davincimeetingrooms.com and a new technology hub.
