Rifle-Shot Performance Holdings has entered into an agreement to distribute WAM Systems' supply chain planning solutions throughout Africa.
Pennsylvania-headquartered WAM is a provider of supply chain planning solutions to the process industry.
CEO Jack Weiss says Africa is a burgeoning market for the group and the distribution agreement will help WAM benefit from existing inroads Rifle-Shot has made in the process industry arena.
Rifle-Shot provides targeted consulting and implementation skills in areas such as process enterprise resource planning, manufacturing execution systems, process safety, supply chain, customer relationship management and business intelligence.
Weiss says the partnership is in line with its strategy of deploying supply chain planning and visibility solutions by knowledgeable local providers.
The deal comes less than a month after Sandton-headquartered Rifle-Shot announced it would serve as exclusive value-added reseller of Ross Enterprise and CDC Factory Solutions in Africa.
