Roan Systems expands its footprint into the Eastern Cape

More branches to open in 2009

Johannesburg, 14 Nov 2008

Roan Systems, the printer solutions company of choice, has extended its operations to include a new branch in Port Elizabeth. The branch will service the company's customer-base in the Eastern Cape and will include the same services as its offices in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban.

Additionally, Roan Systems plans to open new branches in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga and Windhoek in 2009. “We have also identified the need for a specialist printer service and solutions company that covers the southern African region and will be expanding into these countries with additional offices in the near future,” says Rodney Bartman, CEO at Roan Systems.

Roan Systems is currently the authorised service provider for OKI, Printronix, AMT Datasouth, Sirit RFID Readers, Computer OEM Trading GmbH, PSi Printer Systems International and Microplex. This means warrantees on these brands are available in South Africa and, importantly, at the new Port Elizabeth branch.

“With our Port Elizabeth and future branches we are undoubtedly extending our footprint, ensuring that all our clients receive the same products, support and maintenance they have come to expect from our other offices,” says Frikkie Koegelenberg, MD at Roan Systems.

“Furthermore, from a company perspective, it allows us to maintain the same high-level of service throughout the country.”

The Port Elizabeth branch is headed up by Juan Kilian and provides printer solutions, consulting, repairs and maintenance to its customers in the region. Kilian can be contacted on 041 373 1111.
