SecureData, a member of the JSE-listed ERP.com Group and the southern African distributor for Rocket Software, today announced that the latter has acquired three software products from Telcordia Technologies, the leading provider of software and services for IP, wireline, mobility and cable networks.
The products acquired by Rocket are currently sold under the names Information Management System (IMS) Workload Router, Information Management System DRC Facility, and Information Management System Y2K Exit Point Routine.
This acquisition bolsters Rocket's already significant offerings in the database management market. Customers of the three products sold in the transaction will continue to receive support and product upgrades from Rocket.
