Rostrvm releases Java toolbar

The Rostrvm Java toolbar offers screen-based call and data control via a graphical user interface embedded in another Java application, or in a Web page as a Java applet.
The Java toolbar goes beyond standard CTI functions, such as proactively presenting call centre agents with information from IT systems and automatically dialling numbers.
Stellar upgrades tech
Stellar, a global call centre and business process outsourcing provider, has signed a deal with Mitel to upgrade the multimedia call centre technology used across its nine Australian-based call centres and two Australian corporate offices in Melbourne and Sydney, says TMC Net.
After a comprehensive evaluation of the leading call centre technology products and a successful six-month "proof of concept" trial, Stellar chose the Mitel 3300 IP Communications Platform (ICP) for its inbound customer interaction needs.
The Mitel 3300 will provide Stellar with enterprise IP-PBX capability as well as a range of embedded applications, such as standard unified messaging, auto-attendant, ACD, voice mail, wireless gateway and CTI tools for application integration.
CRMindustry releases survey results
CRMindustry.com, an online resource that provides the latest news, trends and research that directly relates to customer relationship management (CRM), has released the results of its "2008 Trends in Customer Relationship Management" survey, states WebWire.
Of the 40 participating companies, 37.5% are in the technology sector, and just over 34% of responding organisations have CRM technology budgets of more than $250 000 or more a year.
Fifty-three percent of respondents use an in-house CRM solution, 22% of respondents use a hosted CRM solution and 25% of respondents use a combination of in-house and hosted CRM solutions.
