Royal Mail goes paperless

In an effort to cut costs, increase efficiency and deliver a higher level of service to British citizens, Royal Mail has embarked on a three-year transformation programme to unify all procurement processes and stakeholders on the SAP e-sourcing platform, reports PublicTechnology.

Previously, sourcing was managed via paper files, which was hugely inefficient and did not allow strategic visibility of vendors and contracts.

With the new SAP e-sourcing platform, Royal Mail has eliminated all manual steps involved in the source-to-contract-process.

Sant selects Intacct

Sant Corporation has selected Intacct Enterprise as its new financial management system, says Sys-Con Media.

Intacct will provide Sant with a complete suite of accounting, contract management, revenue recognition, vendor management, financial reporting and business intelligence applications - all delivered via software as a service.

Sant chose Intacct to help gain easier access to data, improve financial reporting, and reduce the time to process orders through better workflow.

On-demand contract management released

Open Windows has released an on-demand contract management system, ContractsNOW, reports OpenWindows.

The system is set to change the way organisations manage contracts and agreements, and makes contract management software accessible for the first time to SMEs.

Contract management is typically reactive and disparate, with contracts sitting in filing cabinets, only to be taken out when something goes wrong.
