Royal Mail migrates to SAP
Royal Mail is looking for a services contractor to deliver a human resources (HR) IT platform based on SAP enterprise resource planning, reports Computerworld UK.
The postal group wants to remove a wide range of legacy systems currently performing key HR processes.
Work on the HR platform is expected to last three years. Royal Mail has not announced what it expects to spend on the programme.
Hastie sells PayGlobal stake
PayGlobal founder and former CEO Donald Hastie has sold his 42% stake in the software firm to other shareholders in the business, three years after he was sidelined by the company's majority owners, Infratil and No 8 Ventures, says Stuff.
Hastie says he is very happy with the confidential arrangement, which allows him to concentrate on the development of his rival payroll software business, ERMLive.
"I have moved on. I have the opportunity to start again with all the learnings, but without having to take with me all the baggage," he states.
Piggly Wiggly selects Benefitfocus
Benefitfocus, a healthcare benefits software provider in the US, has expanded its partnership with Piggly Wiggly Carolina Company to provide its employees with Benefitfocus HR InTouch, a Web portal for benefits and HR communication, states Market Watch.
The HR InTouch system went live to all Piggly Wiggly employees on 1 October, with the entire employee population expected to go live by the end of the month.
As a customisable HR content management system, HR InTouch is fully integrated with Piggly Wiggly's existing Benefitfocus eEnrollment platform.
