This designation was based on RSA's completeness of vision and ability to execute, and appears in the October 2006 report by Ray Wagner entitled "Magic Quadrant for Web Access Management, 2H06".

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City uses RSA Access Manager to help protect its self-service Web portal for members, healthcare providers and brokers from unauthorised access.
