RSA Security has announced the addition of 13 industry-leading companies as partners in the RSA ClearTrust Ready partner programme. These companies include Access360, Authentica, BEA Systems, Business Layers, Courion, Critical Path, Epicentric, Oracle, Plumtree, Siebel, SilverStream, Syntegra and Waveset. The programme ensures that application servers, portal servers, user provisioning applications, enterprise applications, directories and data stores have proven interoperability with the RSA ClearTrust web access management solution.
The RSA ClearTrust Ready partner programme is modeled after the RSA SecurID Ready and the RSA Keon Ready programmes, and is part of the umbrella RSA Secured partner programme. This ten-year old programme, with more than 300 partners, reflects the company`s commitment to providing interoperability and mutual vendor support to customers using RSA`s solutions. Through rigorous testing and certification, it brings added assurance to customers that the products they are buying are interoperable with industry leading products, achieving faster time to deployment and lower overall cost of ownership.
"Oracle is committed to a secure product lifecycle and collaborating with partners who share that same approach," said William Maimone, senior vice president, server technologies at Oracle. "RSA Security`s RSA ClearTrust Ready partner programme underscores the importance of security, an integral piece of partner integration."
"RSA Security is recognised as a world leader in access control and authentication," said Michael D`Eath, vice president of business development at Waveset. "Our strategic partnership raises the bar for comprehensive security solutions, incorporating authentication, authorisation and administration into one unbeatable strategy."
The programme provides technical and marketing assistance to strategic partners interested in offering their customers the benefits of Web access management, two-factor authentication, digital certificate management or encryption technology without having to develop a comprehensive security solution of their own.
"We have had continued success with our RSA Secured partner programme, and have gained tremendous momentum since we have acquired the RSA ClearTrust Web access management solution," said Peter Burgess, territory manager: sub Saharan Africa at RSA Security. "Unlike some partner programmes, RSA Security tests and certifies our solutions with our partners` technology before awarding them the RSA Secured logo. We believe that interoperability is widely cited as the single greatest impediment to broad adoption of Web access management solutions, and we are committed to ensuring that we deliver interoperable solutions to our customers."
