Fueled by the growing industry demand for skilled security professionals, RSA Security has announced the RSA Certified Security Professional Programme.
Comprised of training, hands-on experience and professional testing, the programme helps individuals acquire the knowledge, skills and confidence required to deploy reliable enterprise security systems based on RSA Security technologies.

Previously, RSA Security offered certification through a paper-based test administered by instructors at the completion of a training course. The new RSA Certified Security Professional Programme features professionally developed tests, independent test delivery, re-certification requirements and RSA authorised education.
RSA will offer three job-based certifications for RSA Keon products, RSA Security`s public key infrastructure (PKI) solution for enabling, managing and simplifying the use of digital certificates in today`s leading Internet applications; and the RSA SecurID solution, the company`s centralised, strong, two-factor authentication services for enterprise networks and operating systems.
Tests will be administered by Virtual University Enterprises (VUE), a leading independent test delivery vendor. Individuals can select from over 2400 authorised test centres worldwide and take a test whenever and wherever it`s convenient. Testing in a proctored and secure environment ensures fairness for all candidates with no distractions. By separating testing from training, individuals have time to apply the skills learned in class by building their knowledge through self-study and hands-on experience.
