Rwanda HR managers adopt IT
The Rwanda Minister of Public Service and Labour has promised civil servants they will get their salaries earlier once all districts are connected to the new payroll system, says All Africa.com.
This was announced during a four-day sensitisation workshop for district HR managers. The seminar focused on sensitising civil servants on how to use the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System project, which makes processing and delivering payments to civil servants easier.
This will motivate civil servants when their payments are made on time, therefore improving the quality of services they deliver.

Allegiance Health selects UltiPro
Allegiance Health, a community-owned and locally governed health system in Michigan, has selected Ultimate Software's UltiPro suite, according to Market Watch.
UltiPro was chosen for a comprehensive human capital management solution - including HR, payroll, recruitment, onboarding, and performance management functionality - delivered through software-as-a-service (SaaS).
Previously, Allegiance Health was using an on-premise application that did not offer the Web-based feature sets or SaaS convenience that the HR team wanted to improve efficiencies and employee service, enhance data reliability and accessibility, and streamline administration and technical support.
