The result is a really easy to use, functional and attractive Agile solution, which has now been implemented in a number of sites in South Africa."

Mixing Agile and Waterfall
"It has become apparent that many organisations need a combination of the Agile methodology and the traditional Waterfall approach," says Retief. "Agile is not suitable for all types of projects. Also, some PMs feel more comfortable with the Waterfall approach.
“Using Sciforma S4, some projects can use Agile, while other projects use Waterfall. Our solution is unique in that you are able to live in the Agile world with familiar Agile ease of use and terminology. But if need be, you can dip into the Waterfall world at any point, and then go back to Agile."

Although there are a number of tools available to support the Agile process, Sciforma S4 is the only solution that is able to run Agile and Waterfall in the same system and with the flexibility to configure the system to satisfy particular customer requirements.
MPS is launching its Agile solution at the international Sciforma Distributor conference, to be held in San Francisco, in June 2012.
