The phenomenal interest shown by an increasing number of South African publishers and editors has made it possible for Sabinet Online to grow its SA ePublications Service (www.journals.co.za) to include more than 150 online journals. SA ePublications is now the most comprehensive, searchable collection of full-text electronic South African journals in the world.
Bearing in mind that the service was launched a mere 20 months ago with only 40 online journals, it is impressive that the 150 mark has been exceeded in such a short time.

The eagerness of South African publishers to make their journals available online in full-text is in line with global trends. To add further value to the service, Sabinet Online also provides its SA ePublications subscribers with access to the indexes and abstracts of more than 500 South African publications, with some of the indexed articles dating back to the early 1980s.
Sabinet Online recently introduced six SA ePublications Collections (http://www.journals.co.za/collections) to give subscribers the flexibility to subscribe to journals extracted from the full SA ePublications service, but grouped together according to the following areas of interest:
