SA PM focus group holds public meeting

The project management IT focus group will hold a public meeting on 22 February in Midrand.

The presentation will focus on project risk management, sharing a few perspectives and specific techniques which can be implemented by project managers immediately, without company policy or decisions, and at no cost.

Speaker Andrew McGregor, a project management practitioner for over 20 years, will focus on project management in the finance and telecommunications sectors. Topics to be covered include the biggest dangers inherent in projects, where project managers often go wrong with risk management, causes of risk, and classifying project risks in a consistent, measurable way.
