South African Breweries (SAB) has renewed its contract with IT infrastructure and solutions provider, Datacentrix, for the supply and maintenance of its IT infrastructure over the next four years.
Gert de Bruyn, account manager at Datacentrix, explains that Datacentrix`s direct relationship with HP and its South African Gold Authorised Service Partner (ASP) status guarantees the provision of the latest technology at competitive pricing - two factors that are key to SAB`s total cost of ownership policy.
"Our ability to supply the latest HP servers, printers, notebooks and desktops, as well as provide the skills to perform the implementation, configuration and support, were favourable factors in the selection process," he explains.
Datacentrix`s support packages include a next-business-day repair guarantee on all desktops, notebooks and printers and a four-hour turn-around time repair on server repairs.
"Guaranteed uptime is critical for a multinational company like SAB," says Deon Smit, client server manager at SAB. "Renewing this contract with Datacentrix reassures us that our IT environment will remain secure and functional seven days a week for the next four years."
"We have enjoyed a successful relationship with SAB for the past three years and intend to maintain our competitive stance in our client`s business," concludes De Bruyn.
