Sahara Computers is now a value-added distributor of Alcatel-Lucent products in southern and East Africa, with a mandate to address the IP networking market across the region.
According to Sahara, it will join six other direct resellers in supplying Alcatel-Lucent partners and customers with a complete suite of IPT/data solutions.
“The partnership will create opportunities within the unified communications solutions and services market. We have also appointed a specialised team that will promote and market efficient supply of IPT/data solutions to end-customers via our channel,” says Atul Gupta, chairman and MD of Sahara.
“Unified communications offers seamless integration of business communications, allowing companies to improve productivity and reduce communications overhead,” Gupta adds.
