Sahara Computers, a frontrunner within the domestic ICT channel, in conjunction with its internationally established technology vendor partner, Foxconn, has recently introduced its latest range of motherboards and graphics cards.
The company has formulated an aggressive go-to-market strategy for the latest Foxconn product releases and will also use scheduled technology events and exhibitions to demonstrate products.
Foxconn is a global manufacturer of IT motherboards, graphic cards, optical storage devices, workstations and server infrastructure. The company continues to leverage off its partnership with Sahara to expand its reach within the South African market.
"One of our key objectives is to advertise the value of Foxconn as acclaimed extreme over-clocking, VGA cards and high-end motherboards, specifically in the area of gaming," says Gary Naidoo, deputy MD of Sahara.
"We will make use of gaming Web sites and industry events to demonstrate the advantage gained through the application of these products," adds Naidoo.
Sahara is the main distribution partner of the Foxconn brand in South Africa, Africa and India. The relationship between the two companies has been reinforced through ongoing supply to the local market and attention to service and support.
"Foxconn is rated among the top manufacturers of motherboards and VGA cards in the world. This product line is one of the fastest growing in the local market and this will lead to greater value in the channel," Naidoo continues.
"There is no doubt that our ongoing partnership with Foxconn will be of immense value to our core offering and service levels as the local and international market develops. Our short-term objective is to support the entrenchment of the Foxconn brand locally and thereby assist consumers," adds Naidoo.
