Johannesburg, 05 Dec 2005

Consumers on the hunt for the latest in home entertainment and digital lifestyle technology festive specials should look out for a range of new, high performance CRT and LCD monitors, including flat screen monitors, available from ICT supplier Sahara Computers.

The local distributor has in stock 15-, 17- and 19-inch CRT and LCD monitors, targeted at a broad end-user base - meeting the needs of digital lifestyle enthusiasts and proving effective and reliable for the mobile worker.

The company's 17-inch CRT monitor features 0.25 Dot Pitch (distance between dots) and 1280x1024 non-interlaced resolution. This technology ensures end-users gain the benefit of a complete, non-flickering and constant clear screen.

"A valuable addition to any digital enthusiasts infrastructure - the wider the screen and higher the resolution, the more the appeal the product has for gaming, DVDs, multimedia presentations and much more," says Atul Gupta, MD of Sahara Computers.

The company's range of flat screen monitors emphasises ergonomic and aesthetic quality and adds value to any user-intensive desktop environment.

"Sophisticated and professional is the way we describe our flat screen offering," says Gupta. "It is streamlined hardware, ideal for space-saving within the modern workstation and epitomises the level of growth and development within the monitor space. The desktop will always have a place within the greater information and communications technology arena and we have the resources and skills to follow this through and add depth to the local channel."
