Salesforce unveils social marketing software

“The Radian6 Social Marketing Cloud extends the social enterprise to marketing with new features in social monitoring, insights, engagement, workflow and Web sites,” the company said in a statement.
According to Fast Company, the platform integrates Radian6 into Salesforce's core CRM software.
The product enables businesses to keep real-time tabs on their customers, to monitor the positive and negative aspects of online dialogue about their brands, and to respond in kind.
This new cloud strikes at the heart of Salesforce's strategy around social, mobile cloud software for businesses, eWeek notes.
The Marketing Cloud will include influence analysis from Klout and intention analysis from OpenAmplify, as well as OpenCalais' mentions of places, products and other objects.
