Samsung intros mobile printing app
Samsung Electronics America, has unveiled the Samsung MobilePrint app, its first application for printing from Android and iOS mobile devices to Samsung wireless printers, at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, says Advertiser Talker.
The MobilePrint app allows users to print e-mails, Web pages, maps, photos, and Microsoft Office and PDF files faster when travelling for business, working remotely, or visiting with friends and family.
“Over the past year, Samsung has built its leadership in the printer space with the introduction of innovative features like the one-touch print button and AnyWeb Print software for easier Web page prints,” says Ken Colby, director of printer marketing at Samsung Electronics Enterprise Business Division.
Lexmark unveils latest AIO printers
Lexmark Canada has unveiled the latest addition to its award-winning line-up of Web-connected, all-in-one (AIO) inkjet printers - Lexmark Genesis, reports Thomas Net.
The Lexmark Genesis targets professionals, small business and home office customers who are looking for an AIO printer that has innovative technology and is also built on the same inkjet platform of Lexmark's current line of robust printer designs.
"The Lexmark Genesis not only looks, but acts like no other AIO printer on the market today," says Marty Canning, Lexmark's executive vice-president and president, imaging solutions and services.
Konica Minolta enters Indian market
Konica Minolta Business Solutions India a subsidiary of Konica Minolta Business Technologies enters the Indian printing market with the introduction of its Bizhub product line that includes a series of small, medium and large office, monochrome and colour, printers and Multi Functional peripherals (MFPs), reveals IIFL.
Making its foray into the Indian market after much applauded reviews in China, the company is set to revolutionise the Indian printing market by offering high-quality services and solutions, along with a wide variety of product range encompassing four core technologies: materials, optics, nano-fabrication and imaging.
“The intention to cater the Indian market with technological advance machines was always on our mind. The Indian economy is growing at a stupendous rate”, says Tadahiko Sumitani, managing director at Konica Minolta Business Solutions India.
