IBM DB2 UDB express Edition is a new, full-function database for the SMB market and is packaged at a competitive entry price. It offers customers the convenience of a one or no-click silent, unobtrusive database installation. DB2 UDB express supports a full range of application programming interfaces: XML, Web services, Java and Microsoft .NET. It was developed to comprise autonomic technology minimising database administration intervention and maintenance needs.
