SAP employee arrested for stealing Lego

The Inquirer reports.

As SAP continues to deal with the loss of Leo Apotheker, a much loved character at HP during his 10-month tenure, it seems other high-up SAP employees have been looking to supplement their incomes. Langenbach was one such employee who was levering up his income in his position as VP of SAP's Integration and Certification Centre by re-pricing kits of Lego blocks and flogging them on eBay.

Langenbach allegedly printed up his own bar code stickers that gave him hugely discounted prices, Business Insider writes.

He put those stickers on boxes of Lego, then headed to the checkout counter. For instance, Langenbach allegedly bought a $279 box of Millenium Falcon Lego for just $49, and a $90 Anakin Lego set for about $35.

It's alleged that Langenbach sold 2 100 Lego items on eBay for about $30 000 since April.
