SAP, Protiviti in GRC alliance

Protiviti says its process risk expertise, combined with the analytical features of SAP BusinessObjects governance, risk and compliance and business intelligence solutions, will provide CIOs and IT managers a way to efficiently monitor risk trends in their business.

The new solution will also help companies bolster their IT control framework, including control objectives for information and related technology and ensure compliance with standards such as payment card industry data security standards.

“Today in many companies IT controls and risk-management activities are at best manual, subjective activities,” says Jean-Bernard Rolland, senior director, IT Performance and Strategy Group, SAP.

PR News Wire reveals Rolland states that many companies still use manual IT controls and risk management activities.
