The best of SA`s blogs were recognised at the second annual South African Blog Awards in Johannesburg and Cape Town last night.
The best South African blog of 2005 is 2oceansvibe. The blog wins 2 006c (R20.06) in prize money and a subscription to NAG magazine.
Runners up are Other side of the mountain and Commentary.
All SA Weblogs, or Web pages containing dated entries, were invited to enter provided they had existed for a period during 2005. Those discontinued during 2005 were also eligible to enter.
The awards are organised by Johannesburg-based blog Cherryflava. Readers voted for the best blogs via the SA Blog Awards site.
