Jim Goodnight, CEO of SAS, has been named to the World Economic Forum's India Steering Committee. The committee identifies key issues and themes for the annual India Economic Summit of the World Economic Forum and Confederation of Indian Industry. In addition, Goodnight will serve as a summit co-chair this year, as he did in 2004.
The announcement of Goodnight's appointment to the committee was made last week at SAS Forum International, the company's premier international event for enterprise intelligence, held from 21 to 23 June in Lisbon.
"India has become a key player in the global economy, and the summit is an important opportunity to discuss current issues facing the country and to plan for the future," said Goodnight.
"I'm pleased to be able to help shape the summit's programme and to share ideas with so many others who have serious interest in India's further economic growth and success."
