SAS, the leader in business intelligence, has been named one of the Best Adoption-Friendly Workplaces in America for the second consecutive year by the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption.
In addition to being counted among the top 100 adoption-friendly companies, SAS ranked fifth among companies in the technology industry.
"SAS is an amazing company to work for," says Dina Fiorentino, Marketing Director for SAS and an adoptive parent.
"SAS truly values its employees and has a genuine compassion for supporting quality of life and families."
SAS provides adoption benefits and resources for parents, including financial reimbursement for adoption expenses, paid leave, adoption referrals, consultation, seminars, lending library and an employee support network.
"I am so very blessed to have my two children as part of my life," says Fiorentino.
The benefits SAS offers to employees - regardless of how they choose to grow their families - often prove invaluable in facing the challenges and stresses of expanding families.
"SAS offers a comprehensive benefits package to its employees, not only because it's the right thing to do but also because of the measurable bottom line benefit for the company," said Jennifer Mann, Vice-President of Human Resources at SAS.
"The benefits we offer generate employee loyalty and foster long-term customer relationships."

This non-profit 501(c)3 public charity is dedicated to dramatically increasing the adoptions of the more than 140 000 children in North America's foster care systems ready and waiting to be adopted. Created by Wendy's founder Dave Thomas, who was adopted as a child, the foundation spearheads programmes such as Wendy's Wonderful Kids, which puts adoption recruiters in all 50 states and Canada to find permanent loving families for children in the foster care system, and Adoption-Friendly Workplace, which encourages employers to offer adoption benefits to their employees.
The foundation also works with adoption advocates and officials to streamline the adoption process and make adoption more affordable for families. As the only organisation dedicated exclusively to foster care adoption, the foundation is driven by Dave's simple value: Do what's best for the child.
