SAS Institute South Africa is proud to announce that Tolulope Joseph, a business intelligence consultant from SAS Alliance Partner Computek, recently passed her SAS Certification Examination with an impressive top-notch score of 93%, earning her a well-deserved SAS Base Programmer Certification.
"Taking the certification exam is company policy, but it became a personal challenge for me. The exam was tough, and the review course offered by SAS was really helpful," says Joseph. "I was absolutely ecstatic when I got my results, and glad that all my hard work had paid off."
The SAS Global Certification Programme ensures that programmers have the most current and up to date knowledge of the products they work with, and is a way for partners to grow their SAS consultancies.
To this end, the SAS Alliance Programme offers each of its partners one complimentary certification per year. Joseph was the consultant at Computek to take advantage of the certification offering. She has been with Computek for three years, and as a result of her recent certification, she has been given a significant role in SAS BI and SPM projects.
The certification programme allows Joseph to gain validation of her knowledge and ability as a SAS programmer equipped to develop and maintain code needed to solve business problems. Alongside the programming certification, SAS also offers qualifications in data warehousing and predictive modelling. All of which require the successful completion of one or more exams to earn the credential.
