Independent analyst firm Yphise has recently recognised SAS as the best software among competitors, in an in-depth assessment report titled "Strategic Performance Management".
The Yphise award was given to SAS Strategic Performance Management over vendors such as Cognos, Business Objects, Hyperion/Oracle and others, after an evaluation of the capacity of products to meet the expected return on investment.
